On April 17, 2023, in the presence of the Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Zakho, Dr. Karwan F. Sami, the Coordinator of the Career Development Center in the College of Education, Mr. Qahraman N. Zainel, and the trainer, Mr. Mohammed S. Khalil Ali, from the Directorate of Social Welfare and Development, the “Expertise and Development of Innovations and Small Projects” course was completed. The course was organized by the Career Development Center at the University of Zakho in order to support students and graduates with ideas and projects.

At the end of the workshop, the trainers and students were awarded certificates of appreciation by the Career Development Center at the University of Zakho.

World Creativity and Innovation Week 2021 began in Canada and more than 127 countries celebrate this day annually in various fields, such as schools, organizations, institutions, etc. This year, the Kurdistan Region has been invited to participate in the program and the Director of the Career Development Center at Zakho University, Ms. Berivan M. Ahmad, has been selected as the leader of the Zakho Innovators Team by the Canadian Program.

The purpose of these courses is to encourage people with new talents and innovations so that they can offer themselves and their city a brighter future and service.
